EndoCalc mobile is an application for assessing patient parameters such as BMI (body mass index), a modified version of the Mifflin-St. Jeor formula for estimating the required number of kilocalories (kcal) per day for each individual person. It is possible to adjust the basic calorie value towards a calorie deficit for weight loss. Additionally, indices (HOMA, Caro, QUICKI) can be calculated and assessed based on basal (fasting) insulin and glucose concentrations to assess the risk of developing insulin resistance.
